About Me

My name is Brittney. I am a mother of two and a graduate of California State University, Fresno, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Animal Science with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. I have been professionally training dogs since 2015 and have experience working with a wide range of dogs, behaviors, and training environments.
I began my career as a Lead Dog Trainer with Petco, where I worked for two years developing foundational obedience programs and supporting pet owners in achieving their training goals. I then transitioned into service dog training, accepting a position with an Assistance Dogs International accredited organization specializing in Autism service dogs. Over the course of six years, I trained service dogs and mentored puppy raisers throughout the development process. In addition, I served as a puppy raiser mentor for an ADI-affiliated PTSD service dog organization.
My background also includes two years working at a local boarding facility, where I managed large playgroups and provided training services. Following my work in service dogs, I joined a local animal shelter’s behavior team, where I conducted behavioral assessments for incoming dogs, supervised enrichment playgroups, and worked on behavior modification plans to help dogs decompress and improve adoptability. Most recently, I worked for a local board-and-train company for a year and a half, training pet dogs in areas including basic obedience, reactivity, aggression, and off-leash reliability.
I am passionate about creating individualized training plans and use a variety of training techniques to best meet the unique needs of both dogs and their owners.
